Lakeview Interior Lot - Lot B

In tandem with the Corner Lot on Lakeview, I was lucky enough to help design the Interior Lot home with Sitton Custom Homes. This home was a more traditional looking home, so I really wanted to run with it and create a warm and timelessly designed interior.

The entrance is a showstopper with the marble checkerboard flooring! By far my favorite flooring I have installed to date! This floor paired with the aged brass fixture really sets the tone for the home. The dining room has a gorgeous wallpapered ceiling paired with a circular shaded chandelier. We went outside of the ‘white everything’ norm these days, and did warmer tones in the kitchen - warm white perimeter cabinets and a walnut wood island. The showstopper in the kitchen is definitely the oversized zinc hood and the mercury glass pendants.

Throughout this home you will find timeless and traditional elements - lots of wood, marbles, textured wallpaper, subway tile wainscoting and even a fun bamboo vanity. This one is definitely on the top of my list as one of my favorite homes in East Hill!

Lakeview Corner Lot

This incredible semi-furnished custom spec-home was built by Sitton Custom Homes and architected by Brodeur Home Designs. I was beyond thrilled to be apart of the design process with this incredible team of contractors and installers. The overall goal for this home was a Coastal Modern vibe, but we also wanted to maintain a slight touch of traditional to fit within the Historic East Hill Neighborhood. The copper gutters, lap siding, and wood corbels soften the white exterior, while the warm wood floors throughout create the perfect backdrop for touches of warm brass and marble finishes.

Panferio Drive - Baby Beach House

I have to brag often that we live in Paradise. Pensacola Beach is a special place for me, so when Sitton Custom Homes asked me to help design a new build beach house, I had to say YES! This beautiful home was architected by Brodeur Home Designs and is located on one of our favorite local beaches, Baby Beach. It’s on the Pensacola Intercoastal Waterway and the is known to be calm on days the Gulf is not. Thus making it the best beach to bring your babies to - Baby Beach!

With a lot of collaboration between myself and George Sitton, owner of Sitton Custom Homes, we came up with an incredible beach house getaway for any family. It’s a serene home with fun pops of wallpapers and tile throughout. The open concept layout provides water views from every angle and the custom artwork from Sarah Webb bring the water inside. This was one of my absolute favorite projects to work on with such an incredible team!

Lee Street Cottage

When we bought the lot that our current house is built on, we met this lovely elderly gentleman that lived next door. Harrison Wells. His name deserves a full sentence. We ended up calling him our project manager, as he would monitor the build everyday and give us updates of when no one was there, LOL!

What was so special is that Harrison grew up on the property that we were building on. We did NOT tear his house down, which that’s a whole other story, but we felt so happy to hopefully bring his family’s property to its full potential. He lived next door in the cottage his grandparents lived in. It was a classic Aladdin Kit house built by his grandfather in 1923. Harrison and I would talk often about how he wanted to either tear it down and build something new or completely renovate it. It was in quite the state of disrepair and I always hoped he would be able to fix it up. Sadly, Harrison passed away in October of 2021. We were able to purchase the property and I knew we just couldn’t tear the old home down. I LOVE historic East Hill homes, and hate how they are being replaced with patio style quick builds for a quick buck. So we took a loooooonnnnnngggg time and completely renovated Harrison’s home. I am pretty sure he is looking down and is super proud of what became of his family’s home.

I never really got any good before pics as they were pretty rough, but here’s the Cottage now!

Flintwood Kitchen Remodel

This project was a full kitchen remodel right down to the studs. My client wanted to open up her space to make more room for family gatherings, which happen often here.

We extended the back door area only by 3 feet but it made a huge difference! Now a once dark kitchen is light and bright with plenty of room for all those grand-babies!

Lee Street New Build

When I started designing our new home, I wanted to be sure that it fit the aesthetic in the historical neighborhood of East Hill. My ultimate goal was for it to look like a remodeled old French Colonial home from the early 1900's.

Bayou Living

This house was actually a close family friend’s home before our other friends bought it. So I was able to see it decorated in two very different styles which was so fun. We wanted to brighten up the space and incorporate my client’s favorite color - indigo blue. So I used various pops of darker blues throughout.

Jackson Street Cottage

This 1914 East Hill cottage was mine and my husband’s first home together. We moved out right before we had my son into our historic renovation home in North Hill, but we decided to keep this cottage as a rental. I am sure glad we did, as we were able to move back in while we built the Lee Street Home. When we moved back in, the home needed a couple of updates including a new kitchen and a fresh coat of neutral paint. We renovated this kitchen in just about 3 weeks, I have the best cabinet maker!

North Hill Bungalow

This North Hill bungalow was such a treat to work on. My client’s husband bought her a design package for Mother’s Day, what a fun gift! They wanted to design and completely refurnish their main living room and their great room. The goal was to make it pretty but also family friendly for their young twin boys.

Perdido Beach Condo

This condo was my very first project. I was so excited and so nervous! My client wanted a fresh new space that was coastal, but not too ‘beachy’ which is right up my alley. I love integrating light woods and soft linens with pops of blue and coral in coastal design.

East Hill Mudroom

This was my second big project, and I was thrilled to be able to design custom mudroom built-ins for this busy family of 4. My client needed serious storage for her boy’s sporting equipment, backpacks, shoes and pool towels. The way it was designed also allowed us to create a cute little reading window seat.

North Hill Playroom

I just love a good historic home, especially making it functional for today’s modern life. This room was two sweet little girls’ playroom, but it was messy and completely unorganized. My client wanted custom built ins for extra storage, and we were able to create two cute little reading window seats for the girls. Custom pillow covers and art display made this space extra special for them.
