This is a project that I recently completed in an East Hill home on Bayou Texar. The best part of this project was that the home was once owned by family friends of ours. We spent many weekends cooking out at this home. Now, different friends bought the property. It is so fun to see how the same space can look so different based on a homeowner’s personality.

Here is their family friendly family room. The new homeowner loves blue, so I made sure to incorporate plenty of blue accents! I decided to be bold and go with two different sofas, one slipcovered and one leather. I love mixing things up and think it turned out beautifully! This might be one of my favorite designs yet.
